Our Path to thinking Nature
One thing is great, that we are living in an age where thinking individualistic is promoted. At least we can find our path. Data is missing on how many are finding that path actually. After so much of formal education it should have become easier to know reality about our environment, but yet the youth is confused. Our environment, yes it is changing. Budget in One Page (2022-23)
The first part of the budget 2022 highlighted the promotion of PM Gati Shakti which is a masterplan to develop the infrastructure, logistics and communication of the country. A peculiar observation from the budget was the constant inclusion of sustainability in every sector. Humans have progressed till now with the help of Nature. Every product which we use has some natural ingredient at its base. Products are packaged in a marketable way and hence we don’t understand this. This shows us how dependent we are on the nature not just for our basic needs but also for leisure. On Reservations for Economically Weaker Sections, and Reservation Policy in general. Yesterday while I was sipping tea, a Whatsapp notification popped up. A person had uploaded a status. Generally these are ‘Happy B’day wishes’, but for a change the status said “Give them chance, not charity – Baba Amte”. This triggered thoughts about recent 10 % reservations given to the Economically Weak General category candidates. Baba Amte demanded chance for the Leprosy affected people, neglected by their families. The quote moved me back in time when I visited Somnath and Anandwan for Shram Sanskar Chhawni. आनंदी गोपाळच्या निमित्ताने…
सुरुवात कबुलीने करायला हवी की, या विषयावर आज लिहायचं, असं काही ठरलं नव्हतं. इतर बऱ्याचजणांसारखा मी सुद्धा झोपेत होतो. आनंदीबाई आणि गोपाळरावांचे काम पाहून वाटले की ह्या दोघांनीच आपल्या सगळ्यांच्या वाटचे फटके स्वतःच्या अंगावर घेतले आहेत. त्याचे वळ देखील त्यांच्याच कुटुंबावर उमटले. प्रत्येक दिवशी होणाऱ्या त्रासाचे, टीकेचे , लढ्याचे रुपांतर आपण २ तासाच्या चित्रपटात पाहतो. पण रोज उठून तो लढा देणं, ते सुद्धा यशाची खात्री नसताना हे आपण अनुभवत नाही. आपण सगळेच वेगवेगळ्या प्रमाणात संवेदनशील असतो. पण त्या संवेदनशिलतेचे कोणत्या कृतीत रुपांतर होईल हे प्रत्येकाचे निराळे. तसाच, आनंदी बाईंचे आयुष्य पाहिल्यावर सुद्धा प्रत्येकावर वेगळा परिणाम होतो. पाहिल्या पाहिल्या सोडून देणार्यांपासून, त्यातून प्रेरणा घेऊन आपला रस्ता शोधणारे सगळे आले. १८८५ मध्ये,…
